Image: https://www.28wellhung.com/

28 Well Hung is the latest restaurant to open in Nunhead. Founded by Gary & Catherine Solomons 28 Well Hung is a casual restaurant that serves pasture-raised, UK heritage native breed meats - working in partnership with farms in Cornwall, Yorkshire, Kent and Sussex who manage grazing in a way that supports and regenerates the soil.

Over the past 8 years, 28 Well Hung has been serving up their meaty steaks at street food venues, markets and festivals with their Nunhead restaurant being their first bricks and mortar site.

Expect 28-day dry-aged rump & bavette (£8) from Cornwall and Yorkshire and tender marinated lamb neck fillet (£11) from Kent and Sussex. They are also part of a new global movement aiming to regenerate 1 billion hectares of grassland by 2025.
