THIS IS PECKHAM

What’s SouthEast15?

More than just a local guide. It’s a lifestyle.

Inspired by South East London

SouthEast15 is a culture-led lifestyle publication and brand inspired by the culture + creativity of Peckham in South East London. Peckham has a distinct personality and spirit - it’s original, diverse, creative, bold, and unapologetically real.

We capture this spirit through our own authentic lens to empower people to own their time by sharing content that inspires people to go out, discover, and do things.

SouthEast15 launched in 2017 as a local Peckham guide to showcase the cool events, art, and creativity happening in the area. Since then SE15 has grown a strong community of open-minded, cultural, and curious readers who value their time and want to experience cool things.

SouthEast15 is more than a local guide. It's a lifestyle brand covering arts, music, fashion, and lifestyle content using South East London as a creative backdrop and constant source of inspiration.

We now create merch as an expression of our South East 15 brand - A sustainable lifestyle brand illustrated in-house by us, selling goods inspired by Peckham culture, vibe, and spirit. We only do limited drops throughout the year. Only when we feel inspired to do so.

Who is behind SouthEast15?

Fifi Khudhairi is the South East a London creative and blogger who started South East 15 as a way to get her mates to come down to Peckham…

‘8 + years ago I moved in between Peckham + Nunhead in South East London and instantly fell in love with the culture, community, and creativity of the area. It had a real buzz about it.

Moving to SE15 opened my eyes to a whole new world of creativity, side hustle, and entrepreneurial spirit. I loved the rawness of Peckham. The diversity, the mix of cultures, and the imaginative ways people were reinventing forgotten spaces. To me, the area had a very distinct personality - it was original, bold, and unapologetically real.

I started going to some really cool events and exhibitions in the area, visiting pop-ups, and eating some great food. My friends didn’t know much about what the area had to offer. So, I created a list of things happening in the area to get them to come and check it out (/ party with me in Canavan’s until the early hours). And, just like that SouthEast15 came about, quite organically, really.

I started SouthEast15 in 2017 covering local events, reviews, and recommendations but, it has since grown into a bigger platform - with the aim to inspire people to own their time and get out and experience things this cool corner of London has to offer!
