It's Handel... Remixed!

Handel_Remixed.jpg

Festival Voices return to Bussey Building and the London Handel Festival with a varied setlist of well-known Handelian choruses and arias from the composer's popular works Messiah, Jephtha and Theodora, remixed live by producer/DJ Nico Bentley with electronic music in FV's unique house style.

Featuring baroque ensemble, chorus and a wicked dose of playfulness, Handel Remixed: Volume II will challenge conventions, surprise the senses and inspire the imagination in ways the composer would no doubt have utterly relished.

The CLF Art Café is the perfect place for hearing Handel in a new way outside the concert hall, where audience members can watch over a drink sitting or standing, right up close to the performers.

Who is behind the event

The London Handel Festival returns for its 42nd year, presenting five weeks of concerts and performances in multiple venues across London, from the Royal Opera House to Peckham's Bussey Building. Alongside performances of Handelian masterpieces, the Festival also puts on chamber music recitals, lunchtime concerts, guided walks, insight talks and its popular 'Come and sing' event.

Festival Voices make bold collaborative choral music, performing to new audiences in unexpected venues. They have performed at festivals such as Wilderness and Latitude.
