This January South London Gallery in Peckham the SLG REcreative Editorial Board will be presenting a new FREE exhibition at the SLG, asking visitors respond to the question: what’s not being said about Peckham? A pretty interesting topic, with I’m sure will trigger a variety of insightful of responses.

The exhibition features a display of painting and collage submitted by local young people in response to an open call posing the question: what’s not being said about Peckham? Throughout the week, local school and community groups will contribute to the display. In addition, visitors are invited to use materials in the room to add their own thoughts, feelings and responses to the space.

REcreative Editorial Board is a platform based at the SLG for creatives at the beginning of their careers in art and culture to share their experiences in order to learn, give support to and create opportunities for each other. Members of the group will be in the gallery during the exhibition to meet and talk with visitors about the project.
