Ghost Notes music at Peckham Levels

If you haven’t heard Ghost Notes the South London music venue based in Peckham Levels will be closing its doors this February. So they will be hosting their last run of events in the lead up to their closing party Feb 23rd.

The Spaces In Between is an evening of improvised music featuring specially invited players from the South London Jazz community.

Loosely hosted by Rudi Creswick (Bass – Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei), Jake Long (Drums – Maisha, Poppy Ajudah) and Jack Stephenson-Oliver (Keys – Vels Trio), The Spaces In Between gives the musicians who make up one of London’s most exciting home-grown scenes an opportunity to exchange ideas and create entirely within the moment, all in front of an informed and appreciative audience.

Previous guests have included Dave Koor (Keys – The Expansions, Andrew Ashong), Tobie Tripp (Violin – Tom Misch, Oh Heaven, Kwabs) and members of Ezra Collective and Sumo Chief as well as unannounced appearances from Jordan Rakei, Tom Misch and Oscar Jerome.

Music starts at 9pm and entry is free. For those wanting to make an evening of it grab a bite at the vegan and vegetarian restaurant Wildflower.
