This is the perfect intro for anyone interesting in t-shirt screen printing. 3rd Rail Print Space in Peckham Levels will be hosting a beginner workshop is ideal for anyone interested in learning the complete screen printing process or simply looking to print some t-shirts with their own design for a special occasion.
Morning
After a short intro into the history and process you’ll guided through the digital artworking process, if you prefer working by hand we’ll have a variety of drawing materials available for you to draw out your design from scratch. Once these are completed everyone will have a chance to coat their own screen.
Afternoon
After lunch you’ll expose your design onto the screen. While they’re drying we’ll cover ink mixing and the process of setting up the t-shirt carousel ready for printing. When the screens are dry everyone will have a go at printing their t-shirts. Each person will walk away with 5 tees printed in a colour and size breakdown of their choosing.
