SE15 picks: Tasty dough for your dough 💸

We stumbled across this wonderful little project called ‘The Dough Exchange’ on Instagram set up by five South East London pals who were a little bored during lockdown… so they decided to raise a bit of money for charity. How? By exchanging their dough for your dough and donating all profits to London grassroots charities.

Their last ‘dough drop’ raised £2000 for charity Refugee Youth and then the next dough drop is happening between the 9th-11th April in support of the Maya Centre, a Community-based charity providing free, culturally sensitive counselling for women who have experienced trauma in Islington.

Wondering what the dough drop is all about? For £14 you get a kit with two servings of pre-prepared dough, a home-made sauce and a handy video explaining how to roll and cook your creation. Everything is hand-delivered in London Zones 1-3 by bike. In this next drop there will be pizza, Babka and cinnamon bun kits available. Set your alarm, the last drop sold out super quick!

Follow The Dough Exchange on Instagram here where they will be putting the link for the next drop.
