If you haven’t been to the Hidden Jazz Club yet then you really need to get it on your ‘to do’ list asap. Hidden Jazz Club is a fantastic live music pop up event run by musicians. The pop-up jazz clubs take place across loads of cool London locations and one of its popular and regular venues is under the Peckham Springs arches.

You get to experience two hours of live jazz in the beautiful and intimate setting under the Peckham railway arches. Peckham Springs as a venue creates quite a magical atmosphere whilst still feeling welcoming and laid back. This event is for everybody - whether you're new to jazz or familiar with the jazz scene it’s just about appreciating a night of incredible music by some extremely talented musicians.

Hidden Jazz club is run and hosted by married couple Theo and Jannine who started Hidden Jazz Club in Summer 2017 with the aim to create a musician-led, independent music night for people to enjoy jazz in a relaxed and interesting setting. Theo himself has been a prominent musician on the UK jazz scene for many years, appearing at leading venues including Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre, The Kennedy Centre (USA), & JazzAhead (Germany). Throughout the evening he will give you snippets of information about the production and each of the artist’s contribution to the gig.

Regular invitees include trumpeter Jay Phelps, vocalist Vimala Rowe, saxophonist Binker Golding, and the host and singer Theo Jackson.

The best part of this jazz night is seeing the passion and enjoyment of each and every musician on stage, it really makes for a brilliant atmosphere.
