Box Wallah - Peckham Levels
Box Wallah is one of our favourite Indian takeaways - yep it’s that good. Owner Abhinav promised authentic Indian dishes and that is exactly what he delivered. Currently based out of Peckham Levels for dine-in or takeaway d, Box Wallah serves up a selection of incredible Indian street food.
The menu is a carefully curated selection of dishes created by owner Abhinav, it literally tastes like he has delivered the food straight from a food truck in Delhi to your front door- the flavours are that authentic!

Box Wallah’s paneer butter masala is the bomb. The paneer is cooked in the silkiest, creamiest sauce with just the right amount of spice and accompanied with a vegetable biryani, it’s just heaven!

There are some great meat dishes as you would expect from an Indian takeaway like Lamb seekh tikki, green peppercorn lamb chops, and Roadside Chicken Biryani there are equally good fish, vegetarian, and vegan options. As well as the main veggie dishes like paneer butter masala, saag paneer, and a vegetable green korma, Box Wallah has some great side dishes like cheese aloo tikki - spiced mash potato stuffed with cheese, peppers served with tamarind, and mint chutney, which is apparently a typical Indian roadside snack. Also good is the beetroot kebab and paratha!
