One and All cafe is the latest cafe to open on Rye Lane in Peckham. It replaces the previous cafe Rosie’s which closed earlier this year. Maddy, the owner of this new Peckham cafe has been busy knocking down walls and building counters in order to create a spacious cafe that welcomes all Peckham residents.

The premise of this cafe is not only good coffee and food but also with the aim to help the community thrive by having social inclusion at the heart of what they do. Maddy says she wanted to create a cafe that was inclusive to everyone in the community which is why alongside their locally roasted coffee (courtesy of Old Spike Roastery) they also offer a cup of Yorkshire Tea for £1 and a ‘pay it forward’ scheme, which enables customers to buy a drink at half the normal cost for someone who is less able to afford it.

The cafe currently has a small selection of food to choose from like Avocado, chilli flakes & coriander on sourdough toast (5.50), haloumi wrap with spinach, honey & harissa (£6.50) as well as yogurt, granola & berry compotes (£4.50) and a selection of homemade cakes (£3.50). As the cafe is relatively new they are still in the process of developing their menu, something they are asking their customers to help them with - by getting them to scribble down the type of dishes they would like to see the cafe serving (crêpe with various toppings, please).

The cafe is very welcoming, it’s the perfect place for a quality flat white, brunch or to get a spot of work done; it has fast wifi and lots of plug sockets. Maddy also has plans to open up the back of the cafe to hold community shindigs like open mic nights or pop-up kitchens - which will be free to the people of Peckham.

Opening times; Mon-Fri 7.30am -5.50pm, Sat-Sun 9am-5pm
