Last chance to eat out to help out in Peckham! GO!!!

Have you made the most of eat out to help out? If not, next week is your last chance. The government scheme which came in to play on the 3rd August and runs until the 31st August (hurry!) offers a 50% discount off food (up to a maximum of £10 discount per diner) when you eat at restaurants with the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme Monday-Wednesday.

Here is a round-up of some of our favourite Peckham eat out to help out restaurants. You will need to book asap as it gets booked up pretty quickly.

TWO HUNDRED RYE LANE

Two Hundred Rye Lane, the sister bar of three eight four & seven at Brixton is slap bang in the middle of Rye Lane offering small plates and scrumptious cocktails.

Mr Bao

You will be lucky if you can reserve a table at a contemporary Taiwanese-style restaurant Mr Bao! They serve a variety of mouth-watering steamed buns worth trying. Get down early if you want a table (and can’t reserve) as they do offer tables for walk-ins!

Bar OM

Down Choumert Road in Peckham you will find Bar OM, the Vietnamese seafood and cocktail bar worth checking out serves small plates (think Vietnamese tapas style) like seafood spring rolls (£6), fried Vietnamese pork sausage (£5.80) and grilled octopus (£8). There is also a tasty selection for the veggie diners like avocado summer rolls (£4.50), fried tofu salad (£7) and oyster mushroom salad (£6.80).

18-20, Choumert Road, Greater London, SE15 4SE

Miss Tapas

A small independent Spanish Tapas restaurant tucked down Choumert Road. Miss Tapas has been serving hearty tapas plates since opening in 2014. The place is relaxed with an intimate dining area (around seven small tables) and an ever-changing menu scrawled on a blackboard. Good portions at reasonable prices - the Padron Peppers are a must.

46 Choumert Rd, Peckham, SE15

Coal Rooms

Coal Rooms situated in the former Peckham Rye train station ticket office known for their sought after Sunday Roasts is also taking part in eat out to help out - they haven’t got the best vegetarian options (although they are slowly introducing more dishes), so I would say this restaurant is for the meat eaters! Think dry aged duck breasts, Mangalitsa cowboy steaks, Roasted cod heads, and 40 day-aged Dexter sirloin and rib kind of vibe.

11a Station Way, Peckham Rye Station, SE15 4RX
