There’s a chill in the air and lots of pumpkin-related merchandise in the shops, which can only mean one thing; Halloween, Wednesday, October 31 2018, is almost upon us. We have rounded up some spooktacular parties, events and things to do in Peckham this Halloween.
South London Soul Train’s Halloween Special
Peckham’s renowned South London Soul Train night at The Bussey Building is putting on a Halloween special - Bump & Hustle Music. This late night party is hosted by some of the best DJ’s South London can offer, including Paul Trouble Anderson, Ricky Morrison and Johnny Reckless. This scarylicious Halloween special is across 3 floors and costs £10 for final release tickets. Make sure you buy your tickets ahead of the night as they usually sell out! They are promising a night dedicated to making your soul screeeeeeeeam. Creep it real.

Peckham Levels Near & Far bar will be hosting 2 nights of wickedly scary parties to celebrate Halloween. Friday night will see festival staples Disco Shed providing the horror soundtrack to your night & on Saturday South East London favourites The (Not So) Nicest will have you dancing into the witching hours.
There will be prizes for the scariest, weirdest, worst & most original costumes on the dance floor - so if you’ve got it, haunt it. There will also be a disgusting themed menu full of the most monstrous of drinks for you to enjoy.
Groups & ghouls welcome but advance booking is advised as they expect to get terrifyingly busy!

Peckham Plex - Night of the living dead
If you are looking for something to do on the night of Halloween (Wednesday 31st) and don’t fancy the classic trick or treating, then head down to Peckham Plex cinema for a spooky movie night. Peckham Plex will be showing an absolute classic, Night of the Living Dead. Fifty years ago, filmmaker George Romero debuted Night of the Living Dead, a groundbreaking horror film. There is panic throughout the nation as the dead suddenly come back to life. The film follows a group of characters who barricade themselves in an old farmhouse in an attempt to remain safe from these flesh eating monsters. As always, film tickets at the Peckham Plex are £4.99. Enjoy a night of terror and thrills. Witch better have my candy.

A Nightmare on Rye Lane - 80’s Cult Horror Party
Who doesn’t love an 80’s fancy dress party? Grab your ghoulfriends and head down to Peckham’s arcade bar The Four Quarters on Rye Lane, for their 80’s cult horror Halloween party. The San Junipero night - named after THAT Black Mirror episode will transport you to the 1987 era to enjoy your own time-travelling adventure, where you might find after all that HELL is a place on earth. Fancy dress is a must, there are prizes! Take inspiration from 80’s classics like Nightmare on Elm St, Friday 13th, Critters, Evil Dead, Child’s Play and so on…
