Sunday Roast is back at The Ivy House pub
Finally, some normality! The Ivy House pub in Nunhead is now serving up their legendary Sunday roasts again. Choose from rolled pork belly (£15), 28 day aged beef (£15) or the Nutroast and mushroom gravy (£14.50) all served with roast potatoes, Yorkshires and the rest. The Ivy House Sunday roasts are sold from 12pm until they run out, but book a table to avoid disappointment!

The Ivy House in Nunhead was built by Truman's brewery and dates back to the 1930's where it was known as The Newlands Tavern. It became London's first co-operatively owned pub after a group of community volunteers prevented the destruction of the historic pub, managing to raise a million pounds to buy the freehold. It then re-opened as The Ivy House.
As you can imagine being co-operatively owned pub it is a popular hang out with locals!
The Ivy has a large stage area that holds regular live music, theatre and comedy nights. They have a wide range of craft beers and 8 real ales.
