Macrame, the knot tying craft enjoyed by many in the 1970’s has recently made a comeback into some of the chicest homes. Macrame is produced using knotting techniques to create gorgeous intricate textiles – like plant hangers.

We love macrame because it is homemade and natural, there is something quite calming about having a few homemade textiles in your home. As well as evoking a hippy earthy kind of vibe they are great if you are short on space – you can suspend a gorgeous plant mid-air saving your window sills from getting too cluttered.

You can hang pretty much any type of plant from a macrame plant holder to add instant boho-chic to your home - we love using spider plants! The gorgeous light green colour and long ribbon leaves work perfectly in this type of plant holder – plus they are super easy to care for.
